I have been training my ass off lately, so today on my day off I decided to reward my self and get a nice bottle of Merlot and make some pasta. It turned out great so I wanted to share the recipe. You could teak this to make it more healthier by removing the obvious and it would still be good. So heres how you make it:
-You start off by putting 2 TBSP of olive oil in a large skilled, slice up a red pepper and sweet onion, mix in garlic, black pepper, salt, onion/garlic powder, chili powder, and saute until onion isgolden color.
-add 1lb of lean ground turkey,(you could sub in extra-lean) cook until redness is gone, add 1 whole diced tomato, mix in for 2 mins, then add pasta sauce of choice (I used emeralds brand)
-Now in the sauce I added 3oz of whole milk, 2-3oz of cream cheese, 2-3oz of mozzarella cheese, mix until its all melted in
-at this point I will finally turn heat on the Water, I like to let the sauce cook for at least 45 mins to mix the flavor, so I cover it at medium heat while water comes to a boil, I used Rigatoni pasta.
-Thats pretty much it, when the pasta is done boiling you can mix or put the sauce on top.
Let me know if any of you guys make it...
