Cheat meals

Is it really a cheat meal if youre already bulking? I thought that was just bulking
 
Do weekly cheat meals benefit you or do more harm? Every trainer I have talked to has different opinions. Curious what everyone's thoughts are

I think it varies from person to person. It also depends on how large of a deficit you're in.

For me, a cheat meal is more mental than physical, as I don't see any positive physical changes after a cheat meal, or a bump in metabolism.

Lol I'm going to agree with you here. My macros are so high right now that I have to have a "cheat meal" quite a few times a week just to hit my numbers. I still stay within my macronutrient target so is it really cheating at that point? Lol.
 
I say person dependent... I did 2 cheats a week ALL prep and was bone shredded as a super. But then I have coached several guys who do not get much out of it other than the mental side
