2 sets of decline bench press and 1 set of dips

wow.

won't offer you any more help joe graft. you have much to learn.
throw in a warm up set or two and that is a great workout for chest. for strength size etc...
have you seen phil hernon?
have you seen his clients results?
after talking with him and learning from him and adding his knowledge and experience to my own i busted thru many plateaus and am bigger and leaner than i have ever been in my life.
i hope him and some of his clients chime in. you have sooooo much to learn.

a better question is: why would you need to do more than that?
but i digress. you ask for advice and help then question it. that is why i am NOT a trainer i don't have the patience. good luck.

Yes seems little but with high intensity. Im excited to go with his routine...

can someone tell Johnny smiles (I question the appropriateness of this nickname) to lay off?
The people I interact with on a daily basis do not attack me verbally when they disagree with me and it is odd for me.

Best thing is to hire Phil. I did it and he knows his stuff:)

If you have about $200 - I think $250 and a years time to follow advice from a member on the board then contact Phil. I don't know him personally but I know plenty about Phil and his work is outstanding. If ya don't wanna go that route then just keep searching and searching and searching on the board. You will find the answers you are seeking.

Think of this. If you are doing 2 sets of decline bench to total failure with lets say 350+lbs for 7+reps, and one set of dips with 100+ lbs added to your body weight for a minimum of 10 reps, You wil lhave a monsterous chest. Guaranteed.

the people i interact with on a daily basis would never ask for my help then laugh in my face when i gave it to them.
you were wrong for that. EDIT. (i get countless emails from guys wanting help and TRULY seeking knowledge and i almost always answer them when i have time. not ONE of them has ever laughed at my advice. except for you...)

If he was able to do half that, he wouldn't be asking.

I can't believe some people. This really does show your understanding (setting up a new thread with the routine but no info to go with it such as split etc). He gave you some great advice. Common sense certainly isn't common these days. Less is more. But intensity is the key... too many go through the motions. Even if you disagree with his recommendation you shouldn't show disrespect to someone who is actually trying to help you. Add some warm up sets to the above and do those 3 sets with complete intensity and you have a great routine. I would personally do it twice weekly and you have an even better routine. But judging by your replies I wouldn't bet you have a great diet in place either.

To me... You sound like when I started out so I can't imagine you have a good diet. I would suggest hiring a trainner... Phil is a good trainner and he trains me. Also if I have small questions I go to johnny.
