After reading Dr Scott's book how to be your own bodybuilding coach, I've structured my diet and meals accordingly to his principles and also made the effort to be creative with my meals.

Not a huge fan of chikcen, hence trying to find ways to enjoy it and PB with a boat load of Cinnamon (which is surprisingly high in fibre) with some unsweetned almond milk, used to create a paste and mixed in with shredded chikcen breast goes down extremely well, almost like a treat.

If you can afford the carbs, then honey really completes it. You guys in the US have a lot more creative options with zero carb/fat toppings.

His book is great by the way, highly recommended.

Or is chicken+ peanut butter + honey the biggest take away you got from the book?

I'm always surprised this isn't more of a thing, and that people get weird when you say you put PB or almond butter directly on your meat.

Nobody bats an eye at the idea of putting peanut sauce on meat and vegetables. That stuff is mostly peanut butter. Or if it's some low-cal version, it's made to taste like mostly peanut butter.

I did chicken+PB with cinnamon and splenda a ton at one point...probably 20ish years ago in high school. There was this nutrition coach and RD named Chuck Rudolph who was really popular on bodybuilding.com for a spate, and his diet was kind of keto-ish with a carb refeed every 3-4 days. The normal meals were mostly lean protein with added fats, and it seemed like his clients were just eating chicken with PB / AB on repeat.

I like peanut butter mixed with soy sauce to make a peanut sauce for chicken. I haven't tried cinnamon. I expect it would be good.

Peanut butter or almond butter with cinnamon and splenda over sweet potatoes, topped with egg whites is a favorite.

Its Dr Scott Stevenson's book Be you own bodybuilding coach, purely advises on offseason,pre-contest, training protocols which includes how to set up a diet and how to manipulate macros going forward when puhsing food, for optimal results.

E.g. rest days he advovates only pro/fat meals in the offseason, hence the meal above was just then me employing meals to fit the criteria.

One of my biggest mistakes in past offseasons was eating food as on objective rather than trying to enjoy my food, which I feel has allowed me to have a better appetite, better digestion and hopefully transalates to a more productive offseason. I hope to do my 1st show next year.

Steamed or bolied Chicken breast (unsalted) is so mild in taste you can do the craziest shit with it.
I made a mousse blending COR, bit of hazelnut milk, Chicken, extra dark cocoa powder and erythritol.
Pretty much my usual chicken and rice meal, and tasted amazing.
 
As much as I try, I only like peanut butter on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I don't know why, I can't stand PB on anything else.

Yea I’m the same but I knew a few pros back in the 99s that woukd blend tuna in Diet Coke and drink it like nothing, I tried ONCE. Honestly salsa makes everything good. I just think trying really hard to make food taste great is a waste if you’re force feeding or even just 5 plus a day no matter how “good” it tastes you gotta gag it down so I just get a glass of water bite sip chew swallow.

I'll never get this whole tuna+ coke/OJ/sweet beverages. If you have to make it semi-liquid to swallow in 2 seconds just use tomato juice and basil powder, far less disgusting

2 tins of tuna, rice flour and some strong orange and pineapple cordial blended. Easy meal! When I don't wanna eat. And quite nice once you get over the initial smell! Mrs won't go anywhere near me after though!
