We've had some good discussions about how limiting the range of motion for bench presses and overhead presses might make the movement safer and more effective ... What about chinups or pulldowns? Some folks claim the bar needs to touch your chest or even down to the nipples, yet others claim that the stretch part of the motion is more important and just reaching your nose or the top of your head is plenty as long as you get a good stretch. So, what do YOU think is the best way to work chins and pulldowns?

I always use about a shoulder width grip and pull to say middle chest, i also do reverse chins with or without weight attached tring to go slow as i can,but holding up in the starting point about middle chest and then slowly letting gravity take over it doesn't take long to feel this working {palms facing you}
