Choose an Suv in that list please

I bought my daughter a 2014 Crosstek her senior year in college when she landed an interniship and needed a ride to get there. Seeing as it was winter and she was in northern NH, the AWD was a must. Car has been zero issues and it has 125k miles on it. She's had it for about 9 months now and has no plans of wasting her money on a new car. Can't speak to any of the other SUV's.

We have some snow where we live, but not as much as the poster has. My wife and I wont even own a car now unless it is AWD. We own 4 automobiles and all are AWD. Personally a must have for me. Even when it is not snowing ,its nice to have in the rain even. I just like how they handle, much better than front wheel drive and rear wheel can be a mess in the snow or even just the rain. I like to get on the gas and not have to worry about the wheels spinning.

Even my Porsche 911 is AWD turbo.

I think a picture of the Porsche is required! *life long Porsche fan and owner of a '74 911 Targa S*

I posted one awhile ago, here is that picture again. 07 911 turbo. Done some work on it so its putting out about 560 hp now. I run it at a track about 2x a year too. Lots of fun.

I love the older ones too. My neighbor has a nice 72 that only has about 32,000 original miles on it.

Forester - Coming from a man who works on the bank side for auto finance, resale (which correlates with desirability/reliability), the Forester wins, hands down. Jeeps are utter trash. My brand new Grand Cherokee has been in the shop 5 times. Longer in the shop than I've been able to drive it. Chrysler isn't exactly synonymous with durability. I had MUCH better luck with even Land Rover products, by far.

The Forester isn't the hottest on looks, but you'll retain better value and definitely a better all-around vehicle.
