yeah i read about that today also. thats insane and horrible. what would be more insane but awesome is if he can come back from that and compete some more. i hope he does, because u dont wanna see a guy in that kind of state, but also it would be one of the most inspiring things ive heard of. All our wishes are with you Chris. good luck.

Yea, rbo, talk about a nightmare!! I feel abd for him, I will keep him in my prayers, that would kill me.

Is it me or was that the most F-ed up interview ever? The first questions were screwed and it took half th einterview to find out why he was even hospitalized.

Also, over on Mayham when the kidney thing was first mentioned we had several people saying they just spoke with Chris and he was fine, respected people . . . am I now to believe they were misleading us?

He is one of my favorites, i hope he makes a full recovery, he has a bad luck streak with his petty bust over personal gear at the airport not that long ago also.

I hope he recovers fully as he is a great bodybuilder and all around nice guy. However I dont think I believe how the injury occured from herniated discs sounds like something got into his bloodstream somehow and got him infected. Seems weird. MM

"The cause of Discitis is somewhat controversial. Most spine specialists believe that it is caused by the introduction of a bacteria during an invasive procedure or an inflammatory reaction. The infections can be caused by a wide variety of bacteria including salmonella species. Mine was caused by a salmonella species ( probably from a junk food sandwich ) and the bacteria went right to my compromised back."

Weird just leaves more speculation if it was bad gear wish he would post the name not causing rumors. He is know to use rec stuff and junk like that I just hope he fully recovers as he is definately a top pro and nice guy. MM

i know friends that lived out in vegas and use to party with him. they said he would "party like its 1999". he would take everything you can think of. this is what they said not what im saying. hes 40 years old and you top all those rec drugs with juice and you got a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. is it possible he had a stroke? he aint no young buck anymore.

I was thinking the same thing. If it were just a spinal infection why would those cats at Mayhem go and cover it up with this BS that they have been in contact with him and he's all good? Says in that interview he's been out of it for a month and a half? I think theres obviously alot more to this that is being told. And I hope for CC's sake he makes the right decision, top 5 at the O (if he's at his best) isnt worth it to me!

yeah, if hes really takes all those rec drugs, it can't be good at all. But at the same time, if it really was a spinal infection, and he got hurt doing what he loves to do, then thats tough and sad to hear, cuz no one deserves to have that happen to them.
