a just got a meal plan and supplementation plan from a buddy of mine. he suggested L-carnitine and CLA daily...considering the fact i wanna get a bit leaner...........what's your opinion on this? and is it needed?

I KNOW DIET AND CARDIO IS IMPORTANT but lets talk about the supplement alone please. thanks

Both are decent supplements for fat loss, I would have a thermogenic of some sort with them personally.

already doing clen......and ec stack on the off weeks. just want some peoples opinion on these 2 supplements if its worth spending 40+ bucks on .....

L-carnitine is just a waste of money unless you inject it AND inject it in the presence of insulin, either by directly injecting a small amount of insulin 1-2 iu's or creating a large insulin spike by consuming a hefty amount of simple carbs. ( I can't remember the exact amount used, it's on DAT's board somewhere.)

Inj carnitine is some painful stuff I hear.

youre wastingb your time with oral l-car... the bioavailabilty is atrocious

It works fine without insulin. Insulin just makes it even better. The article is on the Synthetek website.

Link to research paper backing up said statement?

The bioavailability is minimal through oral administration.

After oral doses of 1-6g, the absolute bioavailability is 5-18%. In contrast, the bioavailability of dietary L-carnitine may be as high as 75%. Therefore, pharmacological or supplemental doses of L-carnitine are absorbed less efficiently than the relatively smaller amounts present within a normal diet.L-Carnitine and its short-chain esters do not bind to plasma proteins and, although blood cells contain L-carnitine, the rate of distribution between erythrocytes and plasma is extremely slow in whole blood.

Quite opposite

For my last show, my diet guy( who does the top pros) had me doing L carnitine in the morning with fat burners and coffee on empty stomach. It ways in my protocol and I did it. Can't hurt to try it

I'd use the Inj L-Carnitine for the reasons above.
