Clen and muscle loss

I know how clen works, but do you guys think it can cause muscle loss even if your on?
I know in the past it wasn't uncommon for me to lose 3 to 4 pounds a week

I dont think you will lose as much muscle as t3 but some should be expected

I think if your dropping 3-4 lb a week then your food is too low and this is more likely to cause muscle loss then any drug

Not including the first 1-2 weeks of diet of course, everyone drops loads at the start of a diet

I've read that as well, but if I'm losing 3-4lbs a week, doesn't that mean my calorie deficient is to low to use it?

clen is "anabolic" (very weak) but not catabolic

you will lose more muscle worrying about clen causing catabolism, than from clen itself.


assuming your diet, training, and sleep (and drugs) are on point


and you aren't cardio-ing yourself into oblivion

Peds and diet will be the factor whether you’re losing muscle or not. If you’re 20%bf you can drop 3-4lbs weekly easily until you get down to like 16% or so.If you’re on hgh and some good peds and you’re protein is high I could see you dropping still at that rate but only until maybe around 12% but then no way. Maybe a pound a week or two but any more would be muscle I’d think.

I would only lose that much when I add clen. So I'm debating if I should add it in or not. If your strength is still there, you shouldn't be losing muscle. Ideally 2lbs a week is a good number to lose

It’s highly possible you’re dropping water weight. Clen dries me out like no other. I’ve never experienced any muscle loss.

Clen is VERY anabolic. I think it was dan duchane who tried to use clen as an anabolic but went to the hospital because the dose it takes is way to high for it to become effective

I can't imagine running high dose Clen. Shit I can't even run it a low doses anymore……I get the shakes so bad a 20 mcg's

There are a few studies on humans that indicated an increase in lean muscle mass. As well, the human equivalent dose(s) in a few different rat studies would roughly equate to 34mg-85mg respectively. A bit too much!

As far as "real world" evidence goes (which is probably what we should base most of these kinds of decisions on...), I've never heard of anyone saying they got bigger or stronger on Clenbuterol.

Numerous people say they lose fat on it. Thus, we can probably expect to lean out on it, somewhat.

Whether or not it is anti-catabolic is questionable, but either way, it is not something you should rely on.

It is certainly much less anti-catabolic than hGH, steroids... or even probably amino acids and creatine and such.
