Not sure I subscribe to the logic that these will magically improve skin and joints etc.
Do I have this wrong?
We eat protein (ok, in this case “collagen peptides)...these get broken all the way down into amino acids.
The body reassembles these into whatever the body needs and assimilates these according.
Absent any sort of macro nutrient deficiency, namely, protein, why don’t we ingesting these make any difference whatsoever?
To think that the body will preferentially dry these into skin, connective tissue, joints etc seems far-fetched to me.
Little help?
