If you are taking this supplement primarily for the joint benefits, what is recommended? I have seen conflicting remarks between type 1 and type 2 collagen. Started looking at hydrolized collagen and then saw a few articles claiming you need type 2, rather than type 1.......As well as I saw articles claiming it wasn't important what "type" it was as it was all converted to type 1 during digestion. Thoughts?

Most of the studies I have seen that are beneficial use undenatured type II collagen. Such as is found in UC-II

If cartilage is avascular tissue; Why do people still take "joint" supplements?

You can't regenerate or fix it given no mechanism for driving nutrients is there. Is this more for inflammation?

I'm not well versed in joint support supplements so pardon me for asking.

I have been using Great Lakes Collagen Hydrolysate. LATS actually recommended this to me…I’m pretty sure that is the brand he uses also. I believe it has helped me!

on pubmed there are few studies that Dante and I posted confirming hydrolyzed collagen type II did in fact regenerate cartilage... it was the only supplement I've known able to do so.. 10g a day for max benefit on empty stomach.. how much is regenerated i do not have a clue

Im going to make the most ridiculous offer to anyone that wants Hydrolyzed Collagen type II... I am switching manufacturing facilities and we are using new suppliers so I will get rid of all the HCII i have left here at current warehouse... i have a few hundred pounds lol..

$100 for 8lbs... Ill just have to get some type of bulk containers... this isn't going to be sold with Syraplex Label and not under my business as I would have to pay facility to fill jugs so Ill just do this as a side thing for you PM guys that want to get a lifetime supply for almost nothing from me personally ... for reference, I sold a few hundred of my syraplex 7oz tubs at $19.99 ...

Collagen hydrolysate

Started yesterday a quite high dosage of 100 pure bulk collagen hydrolysate. Not grass fed or so just plain collagen.
Several reasons: leaky gut, bone and joine health, Skin, getting in a proper ratio of methionine glycine.

It is quite cheap so I have nothing to lose...
