i'm thinking about experimenting with t3 in the coming months as part of a bulking cycle. I've used it before breifly and liked it. I was on for about 6-8 weeks, lost the bf and came off. I never really saw a rebound effect, never gained a bunch of weight back or anything. Obviously your nat thyroid needs to recoup after taking exo t3, but i never SAW the effect of this.. I pretty much just went back to normal. Is this typical in your guys experience? Now i might be running it longer and just wanna get feed back on what recovery is like. Do you gain bf? Loose energy? Notice any negatives?
 
It really depends on the dose and the length of time you're on it.

Everyone will respond differently.

I was on 50mcgs for 15 months, tapered off for 4-5 weeks had bloodwork done and was within normal limits.
 
From my experience in the past, I've run up to 80mcg for 10 weeks, tapered down to 10 mcgs during the last 7 days in 10mcg increments per day, during the last 3 days started using around ¼tsp twice daily of iodized salt on foods and 1500mg of L-tyrosine daily, after a week reduced L-tyrosine to 500mg, then dropping L-T, Continue using iodized salt, as this is essential daily.
Kinda helps reboot T3 and T4 production.
Check your basal body temperature during this phase to see if you are not hypo.

Your thyroid is much different than your HPTA, much more resilient. Most can do over a year of T3, and bounce back very quickly with no tapering. You might feel a little lethargic but not too bad.
 
The problem with t3 is it dosent discriminate it will burn muscle along with fat at higher dosages and longer times... I would recommend always taking it during cycle with some form of test... For post cycle and during your off time, use an eca stack or clen if youd like to try and shed some fat

idodine and l-tyro give your body the raw materials to make thyroid hormone.. Def will use them when i come off.
My plan was to use it with 500 test and 400 tren e along with insulin pwo.. Maybe. I fugured the t3 would keep me from getting too fat but then again eating clean and brief cardio might be all i need to do that. Maybe ill save the t3 for next years diet. Good to hear recovery isnt too bad
 
Iodine is an essential nutrient for proper thyroid production. L-tyrosine being non-essential, plays a role in thyroid stimulation and adrenal function also being a mild neurotransmitter that may play a role in the hypothalamus pituitary thyroid axis to regenerate proper TSH levels after the use of exogenous T³.

I can't speak for the populous of those that are on a restricted diet, although for myself the reduction in the use of table salt that has Iodine (iodized salt ), for fear of excessive sodium retention. Which is not the case, two different elements.
Can place one as Iodine deficiency creating hypothyriodism.

By means of tapering T³ and the introduction of Iodine, L-tyrosine as both being needed for proper thyroid function, should help restore normal circulating T³ and T⁴ and not feeling the drag of waiting to return of homeostasis.

This approach may not work for everyone? If one was to consume both excessive iodized salt or Iodine laden foods or supplements in conjunction with L-tyrosine while on exogenous T³.
I would only thing returning to normal thyroid function may be challenging?
 
Stewie is pretty much spot on. I would recommend adding 200 mg 7-keto to the supplement list. It's not a must but I like it.

In my experience, you can run T3 for long periods of time. However, do not think more is better. You will recover just fine.
 
You very Well could benefit with the use of T³ during this cycle, I would think even at a low dose, 30-40mcg in divided dose.
