Whats goin on guys.used to compete as a middleweight always did well made top 5 ,kinda took a break to put size on ended up opening a pizzeria .after that everything went down hill.got hooked on painkillers bad lost pizza shop.ended up in prison for 5 years .hit weights hard in there then got hurt deadlifting .seperated abdiminal wall .docs say its not a hurnia just i stretched stomach lining.i stopped hittin weights do to severe pain.seen all kinda docs.end result cant do nothing at this time till i get a actual hernia.i just started working out maybe 7 months ago.hit some dvds ,worked out light.my body came back even better th en i was when i competed.i still have pain but only if i lift heavy.my main problem is i feel it when i squat.im lucky to squat 225. Its not heavy its just im scared to push myself.my question is im hungry to compete again im 37 now i feel great i know alot more now then before i train light and still have great results.i can bench heavy ,shoulder press heavy, back is iffy...so i go light same with legs.im lost ...my wife says if i compete i wont stop...all i want is a show or two but dont want the dissapointment if i dont place do to my injury..so should i go for it? I was thinking maybe by next november i could be ready..
