he competed at <176 in March of 2009, and then competed at >225 in November of 2009.

I would definitely say there were some carbs involved

early pics look very good, but the later pics IMO are distgusting. I am not sure what the cause for the belly is....to much GH or a extreeeeeeeme carb up but it ruined his lines.

And yes...you can get too big.....especially if you are 5'1" or however tall he is. Not hating just not a fan of the later years.

Yes he is 52 and has some of the best back thickness around.

i have to defend him.. no one ruins their physique by adding size.. what does it it is the distension in the abs.. that can be avoided.. he actually has a bit of distension as a middle weight as well.. but is able to hide it better.. i can say he was one of the most impressive/shocking guys i have seen at the last years worlds.. awesome in terms of size at his height..

i had pics of him 8 weeks out in the gym (ill see if i can find them) and he was absolutely huge with little distension at all.. but buselmo is right, he is actually a huge guy and diets down to the middles most of the time.. but he is also comfortable in the supers as well.. the guy is very short and took second in a very competitive class at the worlds.. he is one of the thickest guys around and is not exactly young.. and still gaining!!

LATS could you elaborate on how the destination could be avoided. i also have the same thing my abs grow way to easy had to stop all training of them.
