Can u do the carb load before the competition with VITARGO ? If so how would you do it

Thanx great info. but how to put this together if you folowing palumbos kind diet. High prot moder fat en no carbs. Hiramabiff I think you folow that diet to so maybe you have some thoughts on this.

Hey bro, I was following "daves" diet sytle. My prep guru has me on a cleaner diet for now. I will check out Daves forum and get the answer you need. He will not be around for a couple of days to ask him directly, but I know I have seen it written before. Stay Tuned!!

I believe he recommends 1/2 cup white rice with each meal on Thursday and Friday thats what your asking so sub. vitargo for white rice.

BTW, guru.....lol!

Haaaa Ha but is true...GURU!!! Speaking of GURU, remember the mc called Guru? He was pretty tight on the mic. It was GURU and DJ Premier. I think GURU stood for Gifted Universal Rhymes Unlimited. The 80's and the 90's had the best rappers ever. Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy, KRS ONE, Queen Latifah etc etc...None of them use overt profane language or degraded people. What a different world we live in now.

Dang what the heck does rap got to do with carbing up?...lol
 
What have been some experiences with Vitargo or Waxy Maize for loading?

I prefer to load on carbs starting Thurs then Friday night when I cut my water do a mild shitload. I am thinking of trying the Vitargo or WM next show Thurs and Fri before I drop my water but would really like to hear some experiences with this first.

man. i remember these guys.. NWA was another one, but they were big cussers. heck, what about Naughty by Nature. they didnt cuss..

eceryones experience is gonna be different bro,

there are so many factors that play into effect you will prob not get anything usefull... my suggestion is to not use the vitargo for the complete carb load maybe 1 or 2 50 grams shakes at most....

Is that even really going to make a difference? I guess a trial run or two will tell once Im closer to my show.

I have done this... last year, in preparation for the Mike Francois Classic, I used Vitargo as a primary carb source in the Wed,Thur,Fri leadign up to the day of the show. I would take 1 scoop with each meal, and I used Art Atwood's company, (WMS) called Professional Supplements. Be prepared for taste though, lol, but by this time you're so close to eating good food once again, you won't care!
 
Basically, I wanted to share some pictures from over a year ago, when I was preparing for the same show I am now. Here I am FIRST: 3 days-out

THEN: On stage

I used Vitargo to carb-load for a few days, and I think it worked ok. But, as with all things, there is a lot of room for improvement, and this year I am changing things up!

I agree with km2000. It is good to use while you still are taking in water, since it pulls water into your muscles, but I wouldnt use more than a couple shakes. I used it with oats, but started the day before my show, which was too late, so i was definitely flat. but my thinking was I'd rather be more flat and kinda full than really full but spilled over. But either, way it works differently for eveyone. best of luck!
 
Ok so I we been thinking to do it like this (competition 6 mmay sunday already under 3% very lean and hard but flat at 205 pounds).
frday en saturday:
meal 1,3,5,7,9: 25 grams vitargo in 10 oz water
meal 2,10:4 eggs 25 gramscarbs from oats
meal 4,6,8: 6 oz lean beaf 25 gram carbs from oats
time beatwean meals 90 min
water 2 galons en sodium normal

sunday :
7am meal 1: 25gam vitargo in 4 oz water
8 am meal 2 6oz steak 4 rice cakes
11 am meal 3 same as meal 2

no water o sodium

prejudging 2pm

So what do you think?
 
Wouldnt u want to introduce sodium back in before stage..to give urself nice pump and some veins?
 
O yes forgot to mentition 20 min prior to stage 4 oz grape juice with teaspoon salt. But Mass and the rest what do you think of my plan?
