I wanted to get peoples thoughts on this subject if there are any. I have been working out for 20 years, off and on, but mostly on. I was a great swimming in high school and am looking to get back in it.
Once of main reasons I quit swimming is that I was doing behind the head military press one day and upon raising the bar into the set i heard a pop pop pop in both shoulders at the rotater cuff area. I kept on doing it because it didn't hurt much but then every time I did military press the popping and the pain got worse and worse. This eventually affected my swimming stoke and to this day my shoulder area still pop pop pops if I do shoulder press or military press higher than 60 lbs.
My shoulder also gets very tired quickly when swimming while the rest of my body is fine.
Anyway, I found this league in DFW that is great for swimming competition and is national also. They separate the competitors in age group and I will be 38 soon, so I will qualify in the 38-41 age group.
When i look at most guys that are 37-40, i feel I am in way better shape and could really dominate other old people in athletics and swimming.
I plan on starting HGH (for the first time ever) at 5iu a day to help rebuild my shoulder and start a cycle of something when I actually start to compete in the swimming against that other 37-40 year olds.
I don't feel bad about taking PED. I dont care that it's against the league rules either. I would enjoy winning against top state/national competition. Any advice on what you think would help me obtain this goal is appreciated.
