Congrats Henry on your first show-client and friend

I wanted to say congrats to my client and friend henry on his win at his first contest, The Central Florida. Henry is a lifetime natural and has always been active but never trained on a stuructured program until I met him about a year ago. He is the definition of genetic freak. I only did 4 weeks prep with him and he blew the crowd away by winning the Men's Over 40 Master's division as well as the overall. Contest pic have not come back yet but this was 4 days after the show. Congrats Henry, I am proud of you

Hey Big Evil 42, kudos to you also for an outstanding job on Henry, although genetically gifted I doubt he could have gotten into the condition he was in by himself.

Thanks thick! Yep, his genetics are crazy but I put 25 lean pounds on him in a year, He was a ripped 155, now a ripped 180. His joints are so freaking small and muscle bellies are so full and round, even when fully carb depleted everything just pops out at you. When we added the carbs and did a pretty tough water depletion for a novice.....He was crazy looking onstage. Keep in mind the pics are 4 days after the show and having some fun. I'll get the show pics up soon. Henry has an awesome story behind him too. Without giving too many details....he grew up in the Chicago projects stealing and fighting for his food from age 9. He got into a lot of trouble but it was pure survival, he did what he had to do to live. He has strong Christian faith and it helped him turn it all around and got out of dodge. Even today at 42, he works 2 jobs and gives nothing less than 100% in everything he does. He doesn't know any different. If I told him to do 200 sets of deep squats tmrw, he wouldn't ask why, think it was a joke, nothing, he's say .....Damn, OK. We have set our sites on working on his week points (Upper chest, Back thickness, and leg size....note: he's come a long way with legs because when I met him they were bad.....i mean real bad.....I mean real, real, real, fucking bad.....But we squatted our asses off and put 3 1/2 inches on each upper quad measurement.) I want him to wait longer, but he radiates motivation and we have our sites set on a show in Miami in December. I only have contacts in the NPC from my competition days and my history with the Powerhouse Gym franchise up North. I wanted some feedback from others regarding the "natural for life" ie 7 years federations. Oh well.... enough rambling, I am just so damn proud of him. Peace

I know Chris..... He wears a 27" waiste jeans and they hang a little, his wrist are like 6" around, and when I taped his arms I was even blown away.... I thought it was somewhat of an illusion with the size we put on them because of his wrists and elbow joints being so small. I won't post the measurement because he loves when people ask and nobody knows for some reason. Hey, I don't mess with success. I will get his full body pics up as soon as I get them.

Henry is certainly lucky to have found you to work with him. Most genetically gifted guys whom I have known have tried to wing things on their own. So to hear Henry's story and how open minded he is was very refreshing. He will certainly do good and may have a shot at the pro ranks. Again Scott what it is a great team effort.

I've talked with him a couple times. Very nice guy, always chating it up with the ladies. When I first meet him all he did was pull ups and push ups. That was at least a year back. But congrats to him, looks great.

You are correct, look how far he has come since then! Wait till December and you will see some serious shit! He has agreed to take the next step with training and nutrition.
