Congrats to @scoobyprep for his second place finish at Masters world championships

Congrats on the show! A few questions on your experience with triz:

1) How did you come off of it after your show? Did you taper off of it or just quit cold turkey?

2) How did you manage the rebound phase of your diet?

For those who have trouble binging after shows, I am curious if a taper off of GLP-1’s could be of benefit.

i tapered back down, but these are so knew at least to using in bodybuilding im not sure its needed. Why? because they stay in your system about 30 days after usage so you may be able to just stop. That said post show i think is a great time to lower the dose and hold. like 10 units of tirz. You wont be as food focused and youll stay LEAN. And able to work food up to a point you can then remove it and grow. It really shines post show in this realm. I use it with many athletes this way. IMO at 10 units its anabolic, lowered inflammation, proper insulin timing with eating food, beta cells stay fresh etc.

So far im in my health phase i competed at 182 im at 186 this morning. Cals are back up to 280p/300c/90f and im lean. Ive been on 10 units of tirz. Once my health phase is over i will remove it and thats why i call it a sling shot. You pull back get healthy then let it go remove the thing that may cause to you burn more calories and fill the fuck out. I have 3 more weeks. labs will be taken, then ill know if i can push.

So yes if you have trouble binging after shows its a GOD SEND
 
@ScoobyPrep, what does your training look like these days?
great question!

Like many when young i just tried to get strong asf. Which i never really was lol. Best lifts suck 520 deadlift, 315 bench, 500 squat. During this time i never had my best physique.

Around 36 i scrapped it all. I started over. I told myself i would learn to feel the TARGET working. I started over at baby weight. And if the target wasnt doing the movement i worked until it was. I just threw my ego out the window. This is when i made my best gains. By 38 i was pro. I earned my card winning the overall at masters nats at the 35 class at 38. I was class A so 165lbs lol but beat everyone.

From there I knew i had to be 185 in the pros. took two years pushed hgh to 8iu never really had used it and started using slin. Also during this time I found weed as the best pre workout combined with the gh and slin. Pumps were insane and i could find my flow state and really make the muscle scream that was the target. I got really good at the lifts i could feel. Like really good. After 1 rep i can be in pain already whereas a beginner may feel that by 10th rep. Thats imo the mark of an advanced trainee.

I keep the same workout all year. If it worked for ronnie its good enough for me. Why would i do somethin gi dont feel when i can do something i feel and keep getting better and better at it. Tom Brady kept practicing how to throw didnt he. Why would a movement be different. This just makes sense to me.

At 46 now I watch my joints. I take care of my body, but ive found my flow state to really tax the target muscle. INTENSITY is everything if you arent ugly facing it youre just going through the motions.

Offseason i train 4x per week, about 1.25 hrs. Tops.

I keep fasted cardio in daily every morning 30 mins on my treadmill as i do brain games to keep sharp.

ATM im training lighter, by feel, and letting my body get healthy for the push here in about 3-4 weeks. Maybe ill keep pics posted and how its going if you like.

Client 3 weeks only on my slingshot. He's 49 and my story of my body not quite responding the same was something he could align with. We have 3 more weeks to bring it home. He's a masters pro.

Jason joined Think Big Bodybuilding this week to talk more about his Slingshot method. I've got terzepitide on the way and will be trying it for a clean up phase likely starting next week.

As someone just a little older than you , it's inspirational to see.

My training and cardio is very similar to yours, just lifting lighter to preserve what i have left in my joints and soft tissue.
