Anything wrong with eating too much sushi? I usually have a lot of sashimi(just the raw fish, no rice) and a couple of rolls. Sometimes I feel bloated the next day, yet I consume very little soy sauce, I just make a paste with the wasabi and I use maybe a tiny drop per piece.
I'm aware of the mercury content in tuna, and I eat mostly salmon.

About the only downside I can see with eating too much sushi is it's most likely farm-raised salmon, so it's not as healthy as it could be. High omega-6's and pesticides/herbicides from the GMO grain feeding.
You'll probably go broke before you suffer any ill effects though.
I've been to a few nice sushi spots and asked them if they have wild caught salmon and tuna...one cute little asian lady told me "yes, we do and we save it for ourselves." Nice.
Personally I love sushi minus the price tag. I usually stick with the salmon as well. My order usually consists of two Philly rolls, bowl of white rice, and a bowl of miso soup. I find that to be a good snack meal high in protein.
It's pretty expensive since it takes really large quantities to fill you up and give you the necessary protein/carbs you need. It's a treat for me. This past saturday, I went to an all you can eat sushi and sake restaurant for 43 bucks. I ate a stupid amount of sushi that night. It was amazing
I'm a huge sushi fan. The best nutrition wise is ngiri, it is sashimi sized fish portion on top of a bed of rice (without added sugar).
There is a bad ass sushi restaurant under my loft. I've got to know the owners and get the hookup. $5 for any 3 rolls (6-8 pieces each), $6 for 12-15 pieces of ngiri, special rolls for $3 each, 8 piece sashimi for $4. Plus I can get the left over fish for free. I love it.
If you love sushi, come to Vancouver we have sushi joints on every street corner. They are everywhere and all are pretty good. There are some top notch all you can eat places too, lunch $15, dinner $25. All you can eat Sashimi, sockeye salmon, it's heavenly.

I like the sushi buffet. There used to be one near me that was $15 lunch, $20 dinner. They had everything ngiri, regular rolls, special rolls, sashimi, crab, lobster, oysters, great desserts, plus they had Chinese food as well. They went out of business though.
The only other sushi buffet is like $30 lunch, $45 dinner... With those prices, screw it.

Oh Yeah! I stayed in Van for 2 months and for a sushi addict it was heaven. Every sushi place is great, even a little hole in the wall.
They have a lot of all you can eat places where I'm at now, but they put just a tiny bit of fish for a huge roll of rice and no sashimi usually.
I found one place that has decent all you can eat sushi for $15 lunch and $25 dinner, and they offer salmon sashimi! It's not too bad but nothing like Vancouver.
