Contrast Showers for Recovery?

I saw someone mention this and they seem like a good idea and they really aren't all that hard to do, since (I hope) most of us own showers.

15s is not nearly enough time for the internal tissues to drop in temperature enough to affect blood flow. Youd have to be in cold water for at least a few minutes so that you can get more than your skin cold (just think about how long it takes for you to 'ice' an inflamed area).

Other than that, Ive tried them (few minutes in each) and its ok, but the jump from hot to cold sucks and Id rather just enjoy my showers at a nice temperature than changing it up.

EVERY shower I have I end it cold for a few minutes. Wakes you up like nothing else and make you feel good for the rest of the day (well.. at least for the minutes following ).

i would miss my hoy showers. there are times a bath tub full of ice would be great.
