Controlling TRT Gyno?

The doctor isnt much of a help here. His answer is pulling off TRT if it's causing any problems

I'm just wondering what the best options are these day's for controlling mild gyno symptoms while on TRT other than using an AI. Used Arimidex and Letrozole even Aromasin but I think it's overkill with TRT and suppressing too much estrogen. I'm also trying to avoid Nolvadex because of it's Igf lowering effects(using low dose HGH 2iu day). I need to find a happy medium here somewhere. Ideas??

Ive been doing 20mgs subq 6 days a week and since doing it this way I do not need the AI anymore.
But... if I had gyno showing I would certainly do what I had to do to erase it and not worry about stuff like nolva lowering IGF and the such.

Nolva does effect igf-1 levels but not to a great degree... especially considering your on 2IU GH daily. I would try more frequent dosing to lower possible aromatization. But if you have some gyno 10mg nolva should be plenty. You don't have to stay on the nolva but just use it to manage the gyno.

Thanks for your help. I have never used TRT subq before. If your using HGH lowering IGF levels with Nolvadex just seems like you could be wasting the HGH to me. I'm no doctor though..I just play one on tv

My Doc just had me do .5mg arimidex every other day. Even .5 everyday is too much for TRT. You could even do .5mg every third day and that should keep gyno from progressing. I just feel like arimidex is the best option, just don't take too much or it will crash your estrogen and hurt your joints.

:lightbulb:THIS is the proper way to do TRT. My doc explained doing ED sub Q inj eliminate the need for anti E's since your mimicing the bodys natural hormonal production. Sub Q slows down absorbtion and spikes less than intra muscular. Taking 1cc all at once spikes blood serum levels which result in increased estrogen poduction. This is why people have issues with gyno.
YOU NEED some estrogen. Just take it sub Q ED. its more of a PIA but its the otimal way "IF" your strictly doing HRT doses.

waaaay too much AI, try .25mg E3D

i get gyno with 20mg subq every day on TRT so im glad the OP brought up the subject. Maybe it is a bodyfat issue or gyno sensitivity. Do you guys think ADEX e3d is really the best option, what other options are there for prevention?

When on hrt I found 3 things to be a problem.
prolactin, estrogen, and t3.

for estrogen control I found the half life of adex to short.
I ended up taking .8-.10mg a day and it worked much better than eod e3d.

I'm going to do this weeks dose IM but I want to try out subq since it seems to be the hot thing right now. My first question? How do I load a 29g insulin pin with oil?
