So I took some time off from this site and now I have over 200 convos. Every time I try to delete them it kicks an error. I only want to keep like 3 convos. How do I get rid of the rest? It’s driving me nuts!!!

click the icon on the homepage for conversations right next your username, click on first convo, delete, refresh page then repeat
I had the same thing going on, this is what i did, takes a while......

Click on the mail icon in the upper right hand corner. Check the boxes of the messages you don't want...you don't have to do one at a time, then at the bottom of the page where it says Choose Action, click on the drop down menu and click on Leave Conversations, then click Go. It will give you the option to keep receiving messages from the sender(s), click on your answer and then click Save.

I had the same problem he had when the new board first came up. If I tried to delete them all at once it would give me an error. But if I deleted them in small chunks, like 10 or so at a time, it was fine. I'm not sure if it has been fixed since then or if it is a matter of computer speed.

That has been fixed. I just deleted 20 messages without any issues.
