I love this video, and he looks awesome!
Yes, watched the vid and mad respect to Chase for his decision that family comes first. Chase was a major contributor to our community, but priorities are priorities, and I greatly respect him for his decision to down size for his family to make sure he's around for life. Props to himI love this video, and he looks awesome!
Can you blame them? It’s a vicious cycle of addiction in a way… being big is addictive. Feeling super human in the gym is addictive. It does feed the ego…. I never ever look down on guys that downsize as I used to now that I’m older and have gone through it myself. Being truly big is a lot on the body on its own, gear use aside. Definitely something to think of when a man especially has a family, this all comes with risk.It seems to be a trend where bodybuilders get huge, then have an epiphany due to a health scare or the death of some other bodybuilder. They shrink down. And often times, get bit by the bug again only to go back to being huge. (see Jordan Peters amongst others).
I remember a few years ago, may be many years by now, but it was Skip Hill, made a post on his site that he was dropping to TRT, getting off all other stuff, and was going to downsize and basically just do the health thing. It was like a year and half later and he posted a pic of him looking huge and jacked as fuck, and everyone was like, uhh Skip? whats up? and he basically said something along the lines of..Yeah I couldn't give it up, missed being jacked as fuck, tan, lean etc too much. It was funny to me, but only because I can empathize. Can you blame them? It’s a vicious cycle of addiction in a way… being big is addictive. Feeling super human in the gym is addictive.
