hey guys,
so heres the sitch. cant keep my stuff at home, no fridge. so i bought a portable cooling kit, its plugable to wall and ill take it with me where i go. however when im in the car, it wont work. So my question is how sensitive is this stuff?

i heard that before you put bw into it that it can last for a while in a dark place thats under 86 degrees which is fine for me. but once you add water its 32-36 degrees farenhite only. how true is that? i know if it freezes its dead, i already screwed up once lol but if it went to 38 would it go bad??

any advice and personal experenises are much appreciated guys.
thanks :headbang:

Is it maybe your cigarette lighter outlet having the issues? I have a portable fridge/heater that I plug into my lighter outlet and it works fine. Maybe there is a differnce in voltage or amps or something with your unit and your car lighter outlet???

Keep the portable fridge thing home. Unless you travel for days at a time. Even if you do. Pre load the pins before you leave and put them in a little lunch box with an ice pack or two. If your just out for a few hours you dont gotta worry about refrigeration of the preloaded pin. Unless it's a hot summer day. I'd do the icepack deal to keep it a steady temp.

Yup I pretty much do the same thing works great for me. And if I stay over the girls for a few days or go to work I pack the peps and my Tupperware meals in a small cooler with icepacks and travel like that.

My advice is dont ever leave the house with ANYTHING!

I know alot of guys are all about that IMMEDIATELY post workout shot but I feel more comfortable doing things at home, behind a closed door, maybe thats just me...

You can buy one at radio shack and wire it in. If your semi savy which you should be since you installed a push start button.

I hear those little portable refrigerators break if they are used continually. They are meant to be used sporadically. You really need a mini fridge for your bedroom. I got a 1.7 cu/ft for $35 off craigslist and it works out great.
