cost of food for month

I spend around $600 a month......... On McDonalds 😀

Me, wife & 3 teenagers. Easy $1200 per month. That's not including supplements or going out to eat.

you gotta be shitting me, 3 grand a month wtf

I included eating out which is the killer. Also we keep a plethora of fresh fruits on hand. I also tend to like fresh seafood which can get very pricey even at home. Fresh Tuna, Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, Crab Legs (for her), Halibut, Langoustines (Scamp in Europe) . All are well over $10 a lb here and the Halibut and Sushi Grade Tuna and Langoustines (imported from Scotland) top $20 a lb.

As far as going out, we are going to Atlanta Fish Market tonight for dinner and I never get out of there for less than a hundred per person and it is usually higher. But that is getting nice assortment of fresh shellfish appetizers as well as entrees and wine.

I truly hesitated to put my spend in here but the fact is we are all at different places in our life and I happen to be older. I certainly remember the days of wondering if I had enough money for two $.52 Burger King Burgers when they were on special back in the day.

BTW, costs are down this summer as I caught several hundred pounds of Red Snapper, Pink Snapper, Grouper, Scamp, King Mackeral in the gulf about a month ago.

That is only for two adults and a 100lb Akita.

I have to buy my food fresh especially my meats.

We shop a 4 stores, my independent meat guy, Shop Rite, Stop and Shop and traders Joes. This is NY pricing and I am a pro on sale prices.

Retirement does have its benefits!

I want to see a pic of that Akita! I have a midhair and he's less then 100. I need to get him bigger. The best damn protection dog for family!

About £280 monthly, usually less, im dieting so its not as pricey as trying to gain weight

£280 a month how the f....? Assuming you are in the UK?

I spend around £150-200 a week so thats £600-800 a month so dollars $900-1250. The UK is a rip off for everything though.

That is only clean food as well no extra shit or eating out.

I spend at least $400 a month on whole foods. And thats bulk buying also. I stopped buying many supplements and increased my groceries by that much money and noticed better gains and strength.

About 500 a month at costco but wife does not eat much so that helps a lot. I also cook all meals so it safes a lot. 5"9 260 about 12% bf right now

Canadian so I expect we pay a bit more, especially for meat...

We drop about $300 at costco once a month on chicken breast, lean ground turkey and eggwhites / omega 3 eggs mainly.

Then around $100/wk at superstore plus another $20-40/wk on fresh vegetables every few days

All told, around $800/mo for two of us, though I probably eat at least 2/3 of that if not 3/4 even during prep.

Divorced dad so all my money goes to make sure my kid are eating. I spend about 150 bucks a month. I'm very frugal.

About $100 on shakes. About $800 on seafood protein. $50 on chicken liver. About $200 sushi for wife. I can't digest red meat or chicken well.
