Costochondritis

Hey Everyone!
Was just wondering if anyone else out there has had costochondritis?? It really sounds a whole lot worse than it is, but it can definitely scare you into thinking your having a heart attack, as it did for me.

Costochondritis is an inflammation of a rib or the cartilage connecting a rib. It is a common cause of chest pain.

I ve had this happen twice to me and just wanted to get some feedback to see if you any of you had experienced it.

I recently got diagnosed with this..at first I thought it was just my bone disease playing crazy things with my mind, but then I was like no this is different. Turns out I had a few stress fractures in my rib, partial crack in my sternum and this...probably cuz I was just still working out anyway is what my doctor speculated..anyway my doctor basically told me I would know if I was having a heart attack because I would feel some of the worst pain ever and if not just a huge amount of discomfort in the chest region...but still bro some scary stuff indeed.

you got that right bro, actually got mine years ago and even tho it is alot better then it was it is still there.

Thanks for the posts guys, it definitely is one of the worst feelings someone can get, im glad to see im not the only one on this site that gets it.

Dam Jblack did you get those injuries from heavy lifting or a fight? Thats crazy man.
