Could a prohormone cause someone to piss hot on a drug test?

there is a 100% possibility it will. Prohormones are AAS that are allowed to be sold legally due to various loopholes. If you have a drug test coming up, stop now

if it's a normal drug screen for employment, a 5 panel or a 10 panel, there is ZERO chance that any anabolic will cause a positive


those drug screens are for recreational and prescription drugs only


and I took a 10 panel while I was on test e and there were zero issues.........

Yes I understand all that. It takes an 11 panel drugs test to include steroids in it. I was just curious if any pro hormone would cause a fail on the 11 panel. I have no doubts that if they gave the type of test where they test your test levels or in comparison to estrogen levels (I believe there is some type of this test in athletic testing) that it would fail. I'm just not sure what exactly a normal drug test looks for. I know it's the actual specific drugs metabolites, but I don't know if those could be found in any pro hormone. Any ideas on what specific pro hormone would cause a fail for what steroid? Thanks guys I appreciate the help

Geez.... With the # of PH's and DS's out there you're talking about a rather large undertaking to list all of the various metabolites that would trigger positives.

With that said, unless you're talking athletic competition of some sort, why even worry yourself?

One of the problems you would run into with PH/DS in the event that you were being tested for PED's is that even if you did know exactly what they were looking for, and knew of a PH/DS that you won't "piss hot" on, you still have no assurances that what you take is exactly what is listed on the bottle. There are so many cases of either contamination or mislabling with those that you're almost better off taking test prop and stopping 5-7 days before your test.

Again, standard panel for employment, no worries!

There's a few drugs stores around my area that sell the gamut of at home piss tests...if you can get ahold of one, give them a try.

My buddy test positive every month for amphetamines using jacked 3D. Now it's not a prohormone, but I'd be very careful of ingredients used. You can go to any local drug store/pharmacy and purchase a home test to check yourself.

If you are concerned I would just test yourself, or stop. Mainly it's been pre workout supps.

Great info here as jack3d has been linked to a good bit of false positives for amphetamines.

Like others have said though as far as employment panels DS/PHs wont show up.

If you're tested for steroids I guarantee it won't show a false positive, it'll show a true positive...

1,3 dimeth will come up false positive for amphetamines. Nothing will make you come up hot for steroids but steroids. Most tests don't test for steroids, it's very costly

Very possible,,,dependiing the one in question. Many of these 'prohormones' were designer oral AAS just like DBOL,,ANADROL,,TBOL,,etc...M1T and Superdrol were very effective.
