Could I do decent at a local show? (Be brutally honest)

Never considered doing a show but my buddy said I look better than most of the guys that were at a local show last night.
I don't really bodybuild just been lifting consistently for 15+ years (33 now). 5'10 195lbs. I have terrible Pec Genetics and I have wide hips so I've always ruled out a bodybuilding show.

I have no desire to do a gnarly prep or heavy cycle. My priorities in life are my health and hobbies. Currently on a low dose cycle. 125mg Test, 300mg NPP, 300mg Mast. (I'm done with heavy cycles. Too old for that shit and I don't like how I feel on them)

Maybe a 2 week mini cut with some low dose Anavar and low dose tren I could be diced up enough for mens physique? You only live once. Be brutally honest. Would I do okish at a local level show?

Absolutely man. The pecs and arms could use a little work to match the shoulders which are really good. But you’ll definitely do well in a local shown
 
Don’t do a show unless YOU want to do a show.

Plenty of guys on here just workout bc they like working out. Don’t give in to the peer pressure of doing a show bc someone thinks you should or it’s the cool thing to do on social media….

But to answer your question, yes.
 
Do it if YOU want to. Chest focus throughout prep.

Local shows….focus on coming in fucking peeled, you’ll do great.

I agree with everyone else on this one, bud. You absolutely COULD do well if you chose to do it!
 
If you feel like you want to try, go for it. Learn if you have a taste for competitor not.
Not everyone is Phil Heath, so don't worry abotu being "good enough" in your first show

Depends on the state. Some local shows in places like Texas/California/Oregon are pretty hardcore. You're probably not going to win anything as an open bber, but you will definitely look like you belong on stage for sure. If you do men's physique, yeah you may very well win something because you're definitely big enough and will just need to be peeled.

Just focus on bringing your chest up however you can, and you’ll do well.

Can I ask what poundage’s you’re using for chest? What do your chest routines look like?

I think maybe there’s a little gyno going on making it look like that. Filling out the outer portion of the chest will help it look more symmetrical

I've been all over the place. I've had a bench as high as 405. Chest was terrible when I benched heavy.

Past few years now I mostly use machines, Cables, and incline DB's Going heavy in the rep range 8-25 mostly in the 12-15 range focusing on going heavy whilst maximizing mechanical tension within the muscle. Its made my chest grow quite a bit but I still have really weird chest insertions. I hit Chest 2x/week.
