Just thinking out loud. As I understand it, one speeds electron flow and the other increases throughput, so it seems like they could complement each other at a lower dose.
But I don't know, maybe that creates a conflict in how they work?
- DNP (uncouplers) collapse the proton gradient and increase heat production at the cost of ATP efficiency.
- Methylene blue (redox carrier) can shuttle electrons and temporarily support the electron transport chain.
