CPR card dilemma

I need to get an updated CPR card by monday or I cant go to work. I dont have the extra cash to shell out nor do I have weekends of right now to go take a class...anyone know any acceptable online cpr courses that are free???

Call your local fire department, they're always offering classes. I know money is tight, but they're cheap... and you'll have less money if you don't work. I'm surprised your hospital isn't... unless they're aren't for these next few days.

american red cross provides a Nationally recognized legitimate online training cert, however you still need to meet with them for a practical...

worth a try if you tell them your situation they may be able to accomodate you

Never had a problem when I worked in the Nursing Home. I worked for the State and they made sure you were certified. There has to be a way for you to go to the DON and ask her for help. If she is cool she should be abel to hook you up with good ole resuscitate annie. If not try going on line and contacting the american red cross to see if there is anyone to help you in your area.

Im going with cprtoday.com its cheap enough i guess...and i need it now. I think this one will be acceptable and ive got american heart association and red cross certification but the damn things are expired and no way to change the dates..ahh well

This not always true! I work in EMS and some fire depts will offer classes but for people on the dept as on going education.

Best bet would be check local YM or YWCA's they mite have something as well as some of your churches do offer free classes. Or some of your local hospitals will have classes you take for 8hrs in one day. After that it should be good for 2 yrs.

You can call local EMS system and ask if they can point you in right direction.
