Crazy High DHT Levels

So had some blood work done and my DHT levels are 4 times the normal range.

Im in the middle of a cruise ( been in a cruise for 9 months lol)

Total test was little higher then i like at 1400

DHT was 231

Ive been shedding a lot of hair and would like to get it under control.

Any one have any suggestions i what i could do to lower my DHT but not impact my sex drive and performance in the gym.

I will lower my test dose bc 1400 total test i too high for my liking on a cruise. Shoot for 900-1000 total test

Mine was exactly the same mate , 4 times the limit , even got it redone to be sure ... Saw palmetto is good, but why would you want to lower it ? Having high DHT is a gift from the gods

1400/200 with E2 at 25-30 are the natural levels of some lucky guys during puberty. Those that eat anything, have a six pack and gain muscle by brushing their teeth.

I wouldn't change a thing. But if test gel is part of your cruise, switch to injectable only and your levels will drop a bit. Or maybe just drop your dose a little bit and stay around 900.

Chemyo's RU has really put a stop to my shedding.. seems way better option than Finasteride if you're trying to address the DHT

Certain steroids will show up on bloodwork as DHT, anavar is one, there are others.

As a side note. When I started TRT I used 1 packet of adrogel a day, which should supply 5mg of T. And it caused my DHT levels to be at 3x the top of the range. So the method of delivery can be an issue too.

Mine too. Went from shedding 200 plus hairs a day to less than 20 max now. However, I hope it keeps working indefinitely, because the second I don't use it, the shed comes back. OP, do not go the finasteriide route, you'll regret it. That shit messed up guys libidos for years, if not forever.

Finasteride as little as 0.5 mgs every other day on a high test cycle works

if your doing something like test and eq Finasteride will still work

test and deca Finasteride 's a no no and may make hair loss worse

Nizoral shampoo seems to work for myself. Ive had about the same hairline now for fifteen years
