Create your own bodybuilding show?

A couple friends were talking about creating their own bodybuilding show in our city of about 200,000 people. Local businesses have even shown interest in sponsoring it. My question is...is this even possible or are all shows under a federation of some kind?

Anything is possible. To have an NPC show it will have to be approved by the state chairman and then the zone chairman. Of course you then have sanction fees/ judges hotel rooms and fees are all involved with it being an NPC show.

Just pick the federation your interested in and make contact. They will have guidelines on their requirements.

plus its fun and enjoyable for most....add alittle profit in there...

I know getting one in Louisiana is nearly impossible unless your are seriously sucking Luke Tesvich and his click's dick. We are totally saturated with shows down here to the point their is only 30-40 competitors from bikini to body building , they have guys competing in Physique , Classic Physique and body building all in the same show and if you kiss ass enough you can place in each class.!!!

I've heard of this in some states with allowing athletes to cross over to divisions. Even heard of one athlete winning women's physique, figure, and bikini. One Zone Chairman I know doesn't allow them to cross divisions in the states he manages. Classes (Novice, Open, Masters)...yes, But not divisions.
