How much are u taking? Noticed by loss of performance?Been using the allmax creatine for quite a while, no complaints. I ran out for about two weeks a few months ago, i noticed.
Just 10g preworkoutHow much are u taking? Noticed by loss of performance?
Whatever was in those first $50+ 200gm bottles of EAS creatine is the reason I got into gear.I remember when Creatine first came out I was paying a fortune for it. I used the EAS Phosphagen because I thought it was superior Later I switched to Jarrow and was paying something like $79 for a kilo. I never got much of anything really out of Creatine so I finally just stopped using it.
Damn I remember eas back in the day... around 99 I think they has Shannon Sharpe and bill romanowski as reps. Wonder why supplements companies never use pro athletes to advertise anymore. I think I saw tua taglovia do a commercial for muscle milk. Someone should probably be fired for that one because he's known for being small, weak, doesn't look like he lifts and can't stay healthy. I wonder why none of these college athletes rep supplements now that they can have NIL deals.Whatever was in those first $50+ 200gm bottles of EAS creatine is the reason I got into gear.
Without those immediate gains I wouldn't have gotten hooked on lifting.
After those first couple bottles seemed as if my gains just stopped then I switched to other cheaper brands. Just ended up being bloated.
With the influence of those TC and Duchaine articles I started buying large amounts of personal gear from Mexico.
Give it to EAS and Bill Phillips, they took Weiders fitness model and put it on steroids. Literally.
Without EAS not sure we have the prohormone and para-steroid supplements from the past and present.
The assumed spiked batches were from around 1995 1996. Back then the reps were mainly bodybuilders and Shawn Phillips.Damn I remember eas back in the day... around 99 I think they has Shannon Sharpe and bill romanowski as reps. I think it was easy for them to sponsor those guys because Bill was a huge Denver Broncos fan, especially Elway, and their corporate office was also in Golden, Colorado. They definitely paved the way for other products and businesses opportunities back then though. Also, creatine was new'ish at the time, and drug testing had a lot more loopholes and many drugs were still not listed....so creatine and other products were easy ways for them to claim muscle/speed and athletic performance benefits to cover up other drugs that were possibly used, kind of like Androstene was used to throw off tests a few years later (not exactly but similar). EAS was making a killing at that time, so they were able to afford it, and it helped both sides out. Not saying either used 'PED's,' but if they did....Damn I remember eas back in the day... around 99 I think they has Shannon Sharpe and bill romanowski as reps. I did the same to a degree.I was a sucker for EAS back in the day, I can't lie. I used everything they sold.. Vanadyl, CLA, Phosphagen etc.. I remember when the launched their HMB product and said ' This stuff feels like Deca '
I had much the same results. But as i was eating 3ish pounds of protein a day i was probably already saturated. as protein has creatine in it. Now that i eat less protein i take some creatine.I remember when Creatine first came out I was paying a fortune for it. Same here I've always consumed a lot of Beef and Fish so that's most likely why I've not seen much of anything with Creatine supplementation.I had much the same results. You mentioning the grape juice just brought back some memoriesI did the same to a degree.
I for sure bought into the their vanadyl and creatine stack. Of course downed by copious amounts of grape juice.
I was already lean when I started... but after a week, for sure by the 2nd week, all my lifts went up. Both in terms of weights and reps. I was also vascular and pumped all the time. If I had to guess there was var in those bottles.
I remember being a kid and my mom buying the big purple bags of their protein ( I liked it ) from costco/sams club big ass pouchI was a sucker for EAS back in the day, I can't lie. I used everything they sold.. Vanadyl, CLA, Phosphagen etc.. I remember when the launched their HMB product and said ' This stuff feels like Deca '
Lol. I remember those days I would read threads online malto vs destrose, what's the fastest digestng carb so I can get carbs and protein shuttled into my muscles ASAP. Then it was optimum hydrolyzed protein, super low molecular weight, gotta get the fastest digestng stuff or won't grow. No idea what these companies are peddling now to the masses. I'd also have my bcaa and extra leucine. Now some whole food is more than adequate and easier on the walletYea, the EAS creatine Mono, and for sure their Phosphagen HP was SUPER overpriced and hyped. I think most everybody started out using grape juice during/around workouts, then used it with creatine.....then eventually moved to using it (creatine) with dextrose. Before Phosphagen, Phillips was promoting creatine mono with just grape juice. THEN...they brought the hype train adding like TONS of dextrose with each serving of creatine (Phosphagen HP). It was a brilliant marketing move back in the day. I can't think of very many people who didn't buy into the hype at least once during all that. Those that didn't learn their lessons with EAS, or if they were a newbie after EAS, for sure fell for it with Cell-Tech, lol.
Everyone of EAS's products were stupid expensive. Looking back, I can't imagine how much money I could have saved Their creatine, like all brands, at least worked. I don't think they sold Vanadyl Sulphate, I believe that was another brand that Duchaine promoted. But HMB was pure crap! Such a waste of money. Myoplex was decent, but again, very expensive, and the flavor got old......Except the MyoPlex MASS packets, those tasted super good with milk...but were not the best quality either, and less protein, lol.
