Creatine in moisturizer 🙂

Just been having a little look into the topical effects of creatine,,,
And this was something I found...

'By applying creatine in a face cream or lotion it helps to boost skin cell turnover and repair which in turn helps to combat signs of ageing and minimise fine lines and wrinkles, helping you to achieve glowing skin due to these new skin cells.'

Has anyone tried this?
Would mixing creatine powder into regular moisturizer be effective? Or would the molecules be to big to absorb ??
OR am I being dumb.. cause I am taking creatine as pre workout,,, therefore it's on my system! ..

Creatine is unstable in liquid, so I have to wonder how stable it would be mixed with something thicker but still 'wet' like a moisturizer. Interesting concept, though. I'd like to learn more about it.

I think I will do a patch test on my body somewhere.. and be consistent to see if theres any difference... I mixed a small amount in my night cream an applied it to my neck,,, had no reaction, and it mixed together well,,,, but I will stay away from the face until I know for sure, it's good to use...

Plus I think creatine gives me stomach ache... (not long been taking it & stomach just feels uncomfortable/tight/weird,, ) so it's a good way not to waste it if I dont end up taking it as a supplement

As I remember creatine starts breaking down soon after being mixed with in water. Not sure about other liquids. But it is still stable for many hours after mixing. So it should be viable if used soon after mixing and the molecule appears to be small enough to be absorbed through the skin.
