As far as creatine usuage does this change depending on your goals? For instance are you still taking while cutting? How long say before a comp of event date would you need to stop in order to lose the excess water weight?
The first time I tried creatine I winded up with compartment syndrome - could just be coiencedental timing. It wasnt till years after this that they started putting out some studies saying that it may be possible for creatine to cause this. Again this may have been from something else entirely. Second time I tried it I bloated so severly I needed to go to the er. Went up like 17 lbs in a wk. Im now reluctantly (under trainers advice) trying it again but not with a monohydrate, hoping for a better outcome this time around.
