Ok I posted this last week about hematocrit .I found out my crit was 17 . I am on about 150 MG of test a wk. Do I need to get completely off for now.
Btw I did give blood last week, whole blood. I know that should brought it down a little is that enough or do I need to give my kidneys a break for a bit. Certainly appreciate anyones input

I believe you have the measurement of Hemoglobin and Hematocrit backwards. The normal Hb level for males is 14 to 18 g/dl, Your at 17 g/dl Right? The hematocrit measures the volume of red blood cells compared to the total blood volume (red blood cells and plasma). The normal hematocrit for men is 40 to 54%. So, your Hematocrit would be, by indirectly calculated at 51%. This value can be determined directly by microhematocrit centrifugation or calculated indirectly.
Since you've dumped a pint of blood recently, this should have lowered your HH a few points too 14-16 g/dl on your hemoglobin or 42-48% on your hematocrit.
Don't get carried away with doing to many back too back phlebotomies, as this can lower your Iron levels too much, causing other problems.
He thinks it's to much protein that I'm consuming. I know That's not the case cus I'm not even training much right now so not taking n a lot. He was mainly talking about protein shakes. I bet I don't take in 100 grams a day. I understand what ur saying. Just trying not to fuck up my kidneys.
