Cruise training and diet vs blast training and diet

Do you train with the same volume and intensity during a cruise that you do as a blast? I heard some people say they train at 70-80% while cruising but I would like to hear more on this
 
I train just as hard as I do my blast, the only difference is that the numbers in the log book don't get as high and tolerable volume is not as high.
 
Thanks, I can't figure out how to quote since they changed over to this style but how about your diet do you adjust calories on less gear?

I adjust calories according to my body composition, if I start gaining to much fat I reduce calories. Of course my calories can't be as high as when im ON, but when im cruising I don't mind a little more softness but im not going to let bodyfat start piling on either.
 
I agree with b-boy.

Training should be the same year-round, dieting or growing, blasting or cruising, with adjustments when you feel you're not recovering. How you built the muscle is how you keep the muscle.

I typically cut carbs a bit when cruising as my metabolism isn't as enhanced, it keeps body fat from climbing, and there's just not as much of a need for them when not actively trying to add weight.
