Morning everyone. I’d like to talk about cruising. Dosages, training and diet changes, physical and mental changes, and experiences.
Ive just started blasting and cruising under a year ago, and training again two years ago, agyer a 10 year hiatus due to sever opiate addiction, so I only have experienced one true cruise thus far.
Pre cruise, was running a total injectable load of about 800mg of npp and test e, 8iu GH daily, and ended the cycle with anadrol that I escalated from 25-75 over the last five weeks.
When I dropped to a cruise of 210 test and 70 primo and 2iu GH daily , something very interesting happened. My progress in the logbook and visuals improved drastically. I took my calories down from
An average of 5500 daily to 3500 daily, leaned right out quickly while dropping water (20 lb total loss over 3 weeks from combined water loss of GH, drol, npp, test).
While this happened, I reduced my training volume to about 2/3 of normal. My poundages began to increase at a faster rate than before, and I believe I was growing muscle FASTER than I was on higher calories and higher gear load.
I’m interested if anyone has opinions on why this happened. I hear guys talk about losing strength on a cruise and hating how they look and not being motivated to train.
My theory is this:
The reduction in calories allowed me to train a lot harder and enjoy my workouts, leading to better progress. This tracks with me always having better workouts when not pushing calories super hard.
The reduction in total load perhaps reduced inflammation? I know the anadrol was destroying digestion and was not an overall net benefit because of this for me personally.
I’m aware this also may be because I’m new to using gear again agyer such a long break and new in my development so this could be a factor, that the increased drain on my system could be outweighing tbe benefits of more gear because a lower dose may be maximizing my benefits already.
I’d be curious to hear what your guy’s cruising experiences have been.
Pic attatched is me at the end of the cruise
