Here is a detailed look at what I’m currently doing for nutrition in the offseason. I’m not pushing calories too hard, but am keeping them high enough to maintain a 235-240 lb bodyweight and support intense training. In another month or two I’ll start increasing calories a bit in an effort to push my bodyweight closer to 245-250 lb.

how long do you usually wait between meals?
i'm trying to get more calories down, but i can really only manage 5 meals.

Usually 2 to 2.5 hours

I see that while bulking you're eating a green vegetable with one meal on training days and three meals on off days... How many meals do you include a green veggie while cutting?

You use a lot of different fat sources at one meal. Why is that?
 
Great eating plan. I like the way you use different fat sources at certain meals and generally include abit of everything in there (nuts, fruits, vegetables, oils etc). I also see lots of protein shakes are used but usually combined with whole food. That is how I plan to do things too. I have been having protein powder in oats, yoghurts etc. Thanks for posting.

Shelby I notice you use a blend of proteins whey egg milk. A lot of coaches now suggest whey iso, and maybe throw in almond butter to slow,down digestion. Why do you like the blend of a strait iso at non workout times

Whey is really thin and not very filling. I like using a mix with some thicker proteins (casein).

whey iso with fat is fine too, it's not going to make a difference in the long run
 
MEAL 1: 8 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 cup spinach, 1 oz avocado, ½ tbsp coconut oil, 1 tsp red palm oil, 1.5 scoops whey/ casein protein blend, 1 cup oats (dry measure).

Just curious but with the likes of this how do you eat it?

Do you drink the oats? Are the oils in the shake or eggs? Separate? Thanks

I drink the whey/ casein separate, and cook the oats separate. The rest I make into a sort of omelet/ quiche type thing, it's all in one bowl.
