Cutting Carbs...How Low?

I'm about to start my cutting phase. I would like to lose as much bodyfat without losing hard earned muscle. Of course I'll have some assistance from my good friends Winny, Tren, Test ,GH, along with some T3 thrown in just for shits and giggles;) Right now I'm 220 @ around 14-15% bodyfat. Several people have thrown out the idea that I should try an Atkins style diet where I keep carbs at around 20 grams per day, but I'm concerned about losing muscle and energy at such a low level. I'll most likely keep protein fairly high @ 400 grams per day. Any good advice on where I should keep my carb levels at to lose bodyfat and maintain muscle?
 
Food for Thought - pun intended

I don't count green veggies like green beans, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, etc as carbs - nothing more than fiber and water (but are technically a carb).

400g of "clean" protein is hard to do. I would get all my protein from whole food sources, not drinks and bars, with exception of post-workout protein drink (remember, we're talking pre-contest here).

There are a couple of routes to take re: carbs -
1) moderate, consistant levels of GOOD complex carbs
2) cyclic carbs if above doesn't work.
3) very low carbs with carb-up days.

#1 is tried and proven. When I stalemated with #1 once I did #2 and it kicked my metabolism back into gear - like 350g a day, 200g next, 100 next, then 50g. At the same time I was cycling my protein the opposite direction.

Remember, as homonunculus eloquently states and practices (as he gets cut RAZOR SHARP) by controlling overall caloric intake - doesn't do ANY cardio!

I've actually done #3 on a bulk-up protein but for me, it seems like it can have too much variability between individuals. Some say go 6 day then cheat on day 7 with whatever. Others say do same but have ONE cheat meal on day 7. I've heard good results with 4 days low then on 5th day ONE cheat meal. See what I mean?!?!?

Be careful with T3 - maybe you have better luck with it than me. I was on high dose cycle like your but EQ instead of GH and lost muscle and gained fat using T3!?!?!? I'd do "low dose" T3 (and have done that w/o probs).

high fat, high protein, and low carbs. Everyone's doing it. LOL..

I didn't do well previously on a high dose of T3 myself. I figure I'll keep the T3 fairly low @ 25mcg's per day. Vander_V I shot you a pm:)
 
If I were you, I would just feel my way thru the diet. If you are going to do a 3 monther, you could try and lose 2 pounds a week. If you keep your carbs fairly high, you'll need to do some cardio. If you lose weight too slowly, just cut back the carbs a little until your on pace, and vice versa. I think you'll find it pretty simple. There are really no "hidden" secrets to it.
 
I did a modified atkins diet and went from 247lbs to 206lbs in 12 weeks.

The only carbs I had were for breakfast and post workout..

Protein was 1g per pound. total cals were like 2500...

Worked great for me...
