Cutting question - should I use DNP?

Hi everyone! I have read a lot about DNP on this site, and I hope this isn't too redundant.
I am 6'3 216lbs not on AAS, my BFP (visual estimate) is 16%-20%. I've been training for 4 years (started at 160lbs) but I've never cut to that low of a BFP before.
What will allow me to retain as much muscle as possible in a cut to around 8%-12% BFP?
Listing out all my options: (1) diet slowly 1lb per week (2) diet quickly 2lb per week (3) DNP for 3-6 weeks at low dose and then cut calories while T3 recovers (4) blast DNP for 2 weeks and then cut calories while T3 recovers.
I know about the potential dangers of DNP, but I think I can avoid overdosing if I start from a low dose and never exceed 400 mg per day. It's also pretty cold outside, which will lower risk of overheating.
I know about peptides, but they're just too expensive for me unfortunately, so I can't use them.
If there's anything else I can try, please write it to me here. I want to use whatever tools are available.

Is it too slow progress? It might be because I had to do other sports and also didn't manage nutrition properly for the first few years. I'm 18 years old. I was very consistent with the gym though, and I think I over trained at some points.

With all the options out there now for chemical assistance why anyone would still wants to use dnp is beyond me it’s literally poison

You are only 18 years old. Put some training years in. Clean up that diet. That is sound advice.
 
learn to diet naturally before you start fucking around with harsh stuff like DNP.

Do a moderte cut aiming to lose around 1-2lbs a week, maybe a bit more in the beginning cuz you have more to take off and dont have as much diet fatigue.

keep things simple, learn to manipulate calories, macros, cardio with your recovery from training and the goal at hand.


Maybe dabble with some yohimbine, caffeine, albuterol/clen once you get at the end.
 
what will maintain your muscle is not overdoing the deficit/cardio/catabolism, your lifting,high protein intake and lots of quality sleep and low stress.

This. No one needs dnp. Dieting is easy, especially when your fat. The best thing you can do is alot of cardio and while you do it listen to guys like Justin Harris, John jewett, meadow...hell your 18 percent..Basically anyone on youtube. Read here. Download my fitness pal, track your calories and steps but do research on proper eating to cut or grow.

While your learning the basics of proper eating id aim for 10k plus steps a day, bw x12 in calories, 1.5g protein per lb of bw, 50-60g fat, the rest carbs biased towards per and post workout. Clean foods you enjoy and digest well.

Id assume based on your bf your diet is whack and training probably too. There is so much garbage out there now days about training i wouldn't even know where to begin but something like 5x5 may suit you to build a base...or could just do a basic bodybuilding split but learn to train hard, proper form, sets to failure...get strong...this is.key...progressive.

If you spend your time reading about drugs peptides and supplements vs proper training and diet at age 18 ....your only screwing over the dude in the mirror.

DNP is straight poison man. Stay away from it.
 
Just so you better understand a good bit of the pushback to the DNP, I think most of us here want to ensure that you first understand how to eat and train... basically we want to make sure that at your young age you're learning and adopting healthy lifestyle skills, as those will be your close friends for the rest of your life.

At age 18, your metabolism should be pretty healthy, and your bodyfat level right now is not too bad. Where you're at right now, by adopting a clean, reasonable diet, training and consistent cardio, you will see exactly the results you want, and pretty quickly. Would not be surprised that you could drop 1.5-2 pounds of body fat each week. That means in a couple months, you could be down around 200 pounds and with training, you'll slowly be building some muscle.

DNP is a tool in the tool box. I just don't think many of us think it's the best tool for you in your present circumstances.
