Hey guys. New to the forum, sort of new to AAS. Have been lifting seriously for past 7 years, on gear for the past 4 years. Have tried all the popular compounds out there with virtually no issues at all. I have learned a ton, but there is a ton left to learn. My approach has always been to take what I read on forums like these with a grain of salt and not treat it as fact until I learn more, or try it for myself. One thing I have not been able to master until recently is actually getting legitimately lean. I have been dieting since last June. Cardio every damn day, no junk, and finally got in the best shape I have ever been in. Currently I am 211 lbs, 5ft 9. Really difficult to tell my BF level because I have really shitty fat distribution. I am not even going to try and guess, but got a visible six pack, and well defined vascularity (including my quads and torso, which I have never had before).
I am happy, but now I would like to grow without getting fat....yet again. I have a fairly solid idea of how to progressively elevate my caloric intake instead of eating like a pig when I hop back on in June.
I am torn between two options. As far as AAS - I have all the popular ones, and some exotics, on hand. Got 900 units of GH, and insulin (just Novalin R). A recent video by Vigorous Steve that swore by sticking to bio-identical hormones - essentially test, GH, and insulin - got me thinking about gong down that path. It sounds like the "healthiest" approach. Something along the lines of 750 test, up to 2-5 units insulin (titrate up as carb intake increases), and 2-5 units GH (same thing: titrate up).
The evil guy on my shoulder, however, says: "Fuck it bro, you saw how you blew up on test, deca, and q....do that, alongside the growth and insulin".
Wanted to get the input of other people that have tried either, or both, of these routes and what your experience has been. Plan is to run everything for about 20 weeks. I have been doing blood work regularly (2-3 times per year) since I started down this path and the only items that are ever slightly out of range (besides test and e2) are hematocrit, hemo, HDL, LDL, and liver values. Never anything more than a few points out of range even on my heavier runs.
Hopefully I have provided enough context.
P.S. As a new guy, I actually read the forum rules. Hopefully I did not break any.
