cycling at a lower bodyfat

From an anecdotal standpoint, do the vetrans on here notice less fat gain from being on a cycle when at a sub 10% bf then when higher. I have heard
in articles and such that the body is less primed to store fat(from a hormonal standpoint) when one is at their leanest. I had one bottle of sus-500(otc) left and wanted to run a quick high dose 2 weeker, my waist is stuck at about the 30.75 31 inch mark and i am really in my "diet mindset" and am zoned in to where i want mentally. Is it better to go on a moderately high caloric(4500-5000 kcal, I am very active) add a couple of pounds and use the increased metabolic rate to then diet down, or just continue cutting at the 1500-2000 kcal) that i have been at for the last month and a half.

My intensions are lowering bf not increasing size, but i don't know which approach is better

Have you been following the low carb thread that is going? it is possible to add size (LBM0 and drop fat simultaniously. I have been doing this for a few months. The gains are not astronomical but they have been steady. My bodyweight has not changed for three months now. I think 4500-5000 cals is going to be too high for you to lose fat unless you are on some serious gear. 1500-2000 is too low to allow for growth and you may actually lose some muscle in the process. You need to find the middle ground here. 3500 would probably do the trick as longt as you were following the high protein low carbs medium fats rule. This will work very nicely, all you have to do is fine tune things to suit you. If you haven't read the thread do so. It is Pro Muscle at it's very best here. Very informative.
 
Thank you very much your answer is very helpful, and i will be reading it within the next 60 seconds, Got the lba's phil's thread said he was out so i got it elsewhere, but if i like them will come to him for a future purchase, got 5 bottles(10 days worth) and will be using for ultra low carb
 
I read the thread and have been doing something similar myself. Iv'e been researching this for the past few hours and this is what i have decided on.

There was a diet created by another boards moderator named mr.x it consisted of eating all natty peanut butter(16 tbs at my weight)(high fat,high protein low carbs) and protein powder. It equates to slightly over 2 kcal( I am trying to get really shredded up not increase muscle mass, but if i notice muscle loss i will definatley up, calories, You may be under estimating the strength of the sus, as i will be taking 6(maximum) per day, i used it a couple months ago It is VERY potent) It is very good at putting the body into ketosis and is good for a short term(10 days). I will be putting in the lba instead of whey. I may bump this up to 2700 kcal as lba are far less calories then whey. This guy was very popular on elite among other boards and this diet has been used by alot of people. This is not a long term thing just an easy way to monitor food intake over the next couple weeks. I will be using half a bottle lba's as you have been doing.

You can keep your b/f low all yr round. I stay prolly around 10lbs heavier than what I compete at. Dont force yourself to eat and listen to your body. Forcing yourself to eat will cause you to store fat. Hence keeping you right around comp weight with less dieting. Now you dnt have to worry about burning muscle when you diet.....I learned that from a pretty smart fella ;)
