Bro, wtf were you doing taking advil for a month straight?! Good thing your ok, but next time do some research on anything you put in your body regardless of whether it's otc or script.

Yes dude I know. it was dumb, but thats my point. Most of us make the mistake and find out the hard way. and btw it wasnt Advil it was just plain old ibuprofin. From what i remember the bottle said not to exceed more than 2 or 3 pills every 6 hours, so I was roughly within that margin, but it was still too much. "good advice" from your doc is to start at the lowest dosage and then work your way up. well I did that. one pill did nothing. nor did two. only with three did the pain go away, and I am not one to normally complain about pain. Only when it gets unbearable do i even resort to OTC pain meds. Most of my buddies take that shit all day every day even when they are not in pain. Bottom line is that I now stay the fuck clear of all that shit, tylenol, advil, ibuprofin, excedrin, acetemenophin, etc etc etc.

I cant say which is the worst but I do avoid NSAIDS as much as possible. The worst is when I see my friends take a handfull of tylenol after a night of binge drinking in an attempt to kill their hangover. I try to tell them they are gonna kill themselves one of these times. They never listen.

Yes, I have read several places that Tylenol should not be taken either 48 hours before or after ingestion of alcohol. People have had liver failure and death.
