Dairy while cutting

Thoughts anyone. Fat free cottage cheese and yogurt stay in my diet year round and I don't seem to have any issues using them while cutting. I hear a lot of guys talk about eliminating all dairy when cutting and I was just wondering why? Lactose is an extremely low GI carb source and the relatively high sodium content can obviously be offset with adequate water intake. Obviously, i can understand taking out dairy when your 10 days out from a show, but other than that what is the reasoning? Only thing I can come up with is that 30-50 million Americans have some degree of allergic reaction to dairy and this could possibly lead to a slightly bloated appearance???

i eat/drink dairy year round.
long as you are eating proper macros it won't hurt, might help.
i never had a problem with it.

Cool. Thank ya sir.....Just needed a little reassurance.

I will bloat when my intake of dairy is high (drink a half gallon+ of milk/day) other then that if it fits in your macros it should be fine.

I can only cut just so far while using any dairy. I cut out all dairy about 6 weeks from a show. I can get lean with n0n fat dairy, but not super lean.

I hear ya. I might try cutting it out for a few weeks just to experiment and see if it helps. I do seem to get stuck around 7%ish and this could be one of the reasons. Thanks.
