Dapoxetine or any recommendations?

Getting old sucks. For you young guys not experiencing age related prostate sides, enjoy it lol. I recently saw a proctologist to figure out why im pissing 30 times a night. I have to have some tests run but it wont be for a couple weeks. Since noticing this increase in nightly urination it has also drastically reduced the amount of time i can last in bed...almost to the point of not being enjoyable for me. This was never an issue until recently. Infact, it was just the opposite. I know its something prostate related as I have a urge to urinate but end up having the pressure of a garden hose instead of a firehose.
I was thinking about giving this a shot while I wait to see the doc because we all need sex. Has anyone had experience with Dapoxeitne? Is there any other product out you find to work better?
Back in my college days I had the 3V concoction I would use when working in a strip club. Viagra/ Vodka/ and V!c)din. Pain pills are the devil though so looking back that was a stupid idea.

Any feedback is appreciated

Dapoxetine didn't do shit for me unfortunately. As for the other issue, definitely get the prostate checked but see if your doc can prescribe mirabegron. It's supposed to really help with keeping you from feeling like you have to pee all night. Also make sure don't have sleep apnea. That can make you pee all night too

Could not be prostrate. I don’t know. Could be your bladder. Meds are there to reduce frequency / urge. And there are a meds toshrink the prostate but they take a while to work and are not without side effects for some, not all (look a the hair loss thread, I can’t remember the names and am too lazy to look it up). And find the best Urologist you can find and they will most likely do a flow test to see if you are emptying your bladder (100% is not possible without a catheter so don’t be alarmed.). And an ultrasound. And they can always is ‘ scope’ you . . . no big deal.

Just a few things that come to mind if I understand your post correctly.

Have you had an mri yet? This sounds eerily similar to what I deal with. Short version is i have just been taking finasteride and flomax to give the ability to urinate. The last time I went to a new doctor, he made me do an mri and it turns out my prostate is 5 times the age is should be. The size of the prostate pressing in the bladder is apparently what causes the constant need to urinate. Or so I was told. Additionally they found a lesion, that we are testing again in 2 weeks to find out if it's cancerous

Dapoxetine didn't do shit for me unfortunately. As for the other issue, definitely get the prostate checked but see if your doc can prescribe mirabegron. much appreciated. ive been using flomax for the past 2 years but it feels like its becoming less and less effective. i will look into this. Thanks

they are doing an ultrasound of my bladder and a few other tests in a cpl weeks. They want to rule out if its bladder, prostate, or something else so i should have said I suspect its prostate however it could be one or more things going on.

In addition to flomax, I started the finasteride and I also take half a cock bomb a day. Both of these seem to help, on top of the flomax.

How much flowmax and when?

I suspect flowmax does not effect your PSA, just don’t ejaculate for a few days prior to your blood test.

the doc said I can go up to .4mg twice day while I wait to go in for testing in a cpl weeks. I have not noticed a huge difference I do not think. maybe a little less urgent urge to urinate but its still there and the not lasting in bed has not changed. This is the weirdest part because it came on so fast and I had just the opposite issue most of my entire adult life.
There is def a weird pressure that i can not pinpoint if its my bladder or prostate when reaching orgasm or urinating. sometimes worse than others. The doc said not to take finasteride yet until he can narrow down what is going on in a couple weeks.
My prostate exam came back healthy when he did that upon my inital apt.

Take .8 mg (2 pills) at night, nothing during the day. That’s what my urologist recommends and that’s what I’m doing and it seems to make a difference rather than splitting the dose twice a day.

How did they examine your prostate which led to the conclusion that it is healthy?

Take .8 mg (2 pills) at night, nothing during the day. That’s what my urologist recommends and that’s what I’m doing and it seems to make a difference rather than splitting the dose twice a day.

He said the reason he wants to do the ultrasound and one other check is pecause you cant see/feel what is on the other side of the prostate so they need to get a view of that as well as try to exaluate if it is pressing on my bladder or my bladder is pressing on it. im not real sure which would be the culprit.
Also did my PSA which i know is not a valid prostate exam but that also came back showing nothing requiring further testing being a .4.

Your PSA looks great. How old are you? You might require further testing on your prostate and bladder to get to the bottom of this (no pun intended) but I’m no expert, will leave it do your doctor, I’m confident you’ll get this sorted out.

On the Dapoxetin front, it worked excellently for me. Play with the timing/dosage of it beforehand so you know what’s effective for you. First time I tried it, I assumed it didn’t work because I didn’t wait long enough for it to take effect. Tried it again and waited about 30 minutes longer than I did before, and it did its job phenomenally.

Also co-signing on the “make sure you don’t have sleep apnea”. I was waking up multiple times in the night to use the bathroom not knowing that was a side effect from it.

If you did not have any issues before. Ejaculation is controlled by your sympathetic nerves. The same nerves that serve in "fight or flight" syndrome. If you are having incomplete bladder emptying, your sympathetic nerves are "turned on" constantly trying to squeeze your bladder to empty out and this may be the reason why you are having premature ejaculation.

This is a very rudimentary explanation and you seeking help from urologist is the best way to go and glad you are already doing that.

Im 41 next week. God that hurts to say lol.
