My girl and I were discussing what we look for first in a person. Obviously, both men and woman look at someone's outward appearance first. So what's your favorite bodypart? What grabs your attention first?

Now, beyond that, what do you look for?

For me, I look at a girls waist, butt, and a nice smile. Yes... I do like a nice butt (sue me!)
Beyond that, I have to be able to make her laugh and she has to have a nice laugh.

Now my girlfriend (get this) says she likes a man's hands and veiny forearms (wtf?) and then his voice. Apparantly, I have a deep voice. After that, she says she likes a man who is confident - a guy who carries himself well.

So what do you men and women look for first and then later?

im picky as shit ill be honest wether i should be or not but i am. i normally go after blondes but i love love love dark hair with beautiful eyes( the exotic look) my fav body part(s) is number on ima HUUUUUGE ass man but i also like alot of things. legs, stomach, back, smile is a must. like OTH said i have to havea girl that i can make laugh and who is alwas smiling and laughing. i look at everything and pretty much if there is ONE thing i dont like about their body i wont go after it as in a relationship ill be friends with anyone. personality wise i look for someone who has a bigger heart then myself, agressive personality, has ambition and goals. someone who carries themself very well and can take care of themself if need be on their own with out a problem. fuck i lot alot of things. my girl is perfect for me, tight little body blonde short AMAZING green eyes, doesnt EVER not havea smile on her face, cutest most contagous laugh ever, HUGE heart and stubborn as shit! haha ok i will stop braggin on her

smile is #1 to me, then body, as a whole. not really one imparticular part, but i am a boob man... i prefer a woman to be in shape, if she has no boobs, but is in TOP shape, its all good....

but truly, that would be the first PHYSICAL attribute i look for.

Well... I do like deep voices and veiny forearms. But that's not what I notice first.

First I notice his eyes and his smile. And then his build. He has to be BIG. lol. I'm not petite and I like to play rough sometimes... Best bodyparts on a guy for me are shoulders and arms. I love big meaty shoulders and arms. I like chests too. Oh man. Anyway... I digress. I like dark hair, blue eyes, about 5'10" - 5'11", Italian, Mr. Indiana types...

Second is sense of humor for sure - witty and smart. He has to get me and my sense of humor and we have to be able to tease each other and laugh at ourselves. I like guys who are ambitious and goal-oriented, but down-to-earth at the same time. I am very low maintenance and he needs to be the same.

Grabs my attention: I like strong facial features as well. Great smile, one that is infectious. A body that does not get lost in a crowd, one that makes your eyes follow it.

Later: I like a man that is strong yet soft, a leader yet a listener. Most of all I like a man that is humble. THAT is probably the clincher for me. Also, I like someone who can make me laugh and who I can have fun with.
