Dave Draper has died....

I've used his training style a lot over the years and love it. He had a few from the 60s and some from his website I copied. Fair winds Bomber.

Rest in power, brother. This guy was winning tournaments before I was even born.

Bought and read his book. Really liked him and his physique. Love the pic of him and Arnold squatting.

I hope to live as long as you. Farewell Blonde Bomber.

R.I.P. Blonde Bomber. Dave was a class act, I enjoyed his no nonsense approach to lifting and building muscle. I have an autographed poster of him doing seated presses with Arnold spotting him that I bought from Dave when he and Laree sold their World Gym. The poster use to hang on their gym wall and now hangs on my gym wall.

Dave died peacefully at home on 11/30/2021, 40 years after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I was with him when he died; I'm happy to be able to tell you he didn't struggle and there was no pain. Dave Draper, 4/16/1942–11/30/2021

Wow, he made it 40 years. That gives me hope. I've made it a bit over 13 now.
