Dave Palumbo on EQ

I always thought you could inject once or twice a week. Palumbo says to inject eq eod. read below from Muscular development.

"It's 250mg test enanthat EOD with 200mg EQ EOD........if you want to go to one time every 3rd day, that would be okay with the test but not the EQ (it's shorter acting)."

Is this really the case(EQ being s shorter acting ester)? I thought that EQ(boldenone undecyclenate) had a half life around 14-16 days and test enanthate 10.5 days.

Am I totally wrong here?

EQ is a short acting STEROID that has long-acting METABOLITES (inactive hormone). Big difference. Be sure to make the distinction!

Sorry Dave if I'm a bit slow here, since EQ is a short acting steroid it still has an ester(undecyclenate) that is long acting so wouldn't this make EQ slow acting? The same way as test enanthate is slower than test prop?

I'm not an organic chemist by any means (we should ask PATRICK ARNOLD) but "undecyclenate" is not the same as "decanoate"............ Undecyclenate is a fast acting ester linkage. Test undecyclenate is Andriol (the fast acting test gel pills).

Athletes taking Equipoise often report a slow and constant buildup of quality muscle, and certainly this has been my experience with the drug. I would speculate that this slow buildup of muscle is due to the very long ester attached to the Boldenone; Undeclynate is a longer ester than the decanoate ester by one carbon. Thus, we could expect the accumulation of muscle from Equipoise to actually occur at a slightly slower rate than that found with Deca (nandrolone decanoate). This leads me to advise that if you are considering the use of Equipoise, you should consider using it for no less than 12 weeks. Equipoise, like deca, is also detectable in your system for a long time (although it is substantially less than deca´s detection time).

I think he may have just mixed them up or been confused that day.

Most common is 50mg/ml so you would inject that EOD. If you're lucky enough to get hold of the higher mg/ml EQ then you will only need to inject once or twice per week.

That's what i'm guessing he means anyway. Not sure about the shorter acting comment though!

There is no short ester in EQ..It is a long ester...I know Dave and not sure why he did post this unless like what Pete said and that would be if the dosage was 50..Not even sure where you get EQ in that dosage anymore as most are now 200 mgs or even higher. I brew my own and dose it at 200mgs per ML

No disrespect intended but lay off the crack Dave

only reason why andriol is short acting is not because of the ester attached but because of the way it is administered.
The injectable version of testosterone undecanoate (Nebido) can be injected once in two weeks, and will maintain stable levels for over a month!
The difference between undecylenate and undecanoate esters is TWO HYDROGEN ATOMS. They both have a chain of 11 carbons which makes the ester EXTREMELY LIPOPHILIC and SLOW RELEASING.
Its basic biochemistry really.

With Dave he likes to do any drug EOD cause it keeps blood levels more stable...Now with a long acting ester drug such as EQ or Sust. Im not sure if that matters..But I guess if you do it EOD it will be more stable cause your putting 200mg or whatever amount you inj. EOD...So that would give you more stable blood levels of the drug...I dont know if this is correct, cause of build up of the drug in your body, but thats what im guessing why Dave has or suggest to do it that way...

The only thing that sucks about doing things this way, and not that its wrong, is that you end up having some seriously high androgen/RBC levels. Now thats a good thing for all intended purposes but over a long period of time thats pretty damn dangerous.

I think Dave's take on ultra low carb or no carb dieting is awesome. I also think the importance of EFAs and higher good fats is awesome. The one aspect I don't like about Dave is his some of the dosages he has his athletes take. Not that its a bad thing but I myself wouldnt do that. Just my opinion.

I agree with Brad on this one...

I think Dave is a great trainer he really is...But, he seems to be kind of a cookie cutter type of trainer (meaning that alot of people use the same diet, cycle, ect)...

Anyway, Im not trying to take anything away from Dave, I've used him as a trainer in the past...2002 Jr.Nats and learn alot from him...But, I woundnt really do it again, cause my diet and other supplements would be the same as it would be back in 2002...If he did my training for me again...
