it's true and the simplest example - you weigh 90kg and you eat 5000kcal and you manage to reach 100kg but to weigh more you have to increase calories - the same with gear, there is nothing complicated the whole universe works on the same principles1:24:00
What does everyone think of this?
gear upregulates androgen receptors but also the dosage stops being effective due to homeostasis?

this only works if you used let's say 1000mg but you didn't maximise your training, diet, recovery etc. then you can actually make progress on the same or even lower dose but if everything was already maximised 100% the only solution is to increase the doseKurt says
"at a certain point what do you do? you got to go up but you can only go up to a certain point before things fail,
so if you can, if you can reset , I use "reset" loosely because we're not actually resetting, if you can bring the level down and cruise for a period of time and
then hit the Thousand milligrams again you'll probably get new progress out of that same dose again because it's a new stimulus"
This has been debated on here ad nauseaum, over time the body "regulates" its other hormones etc so your dosage becomes the new normal, it upregulates aromatase, myostatin production etc otherwise everybody would look like arnold on 250mg test a week. Also at some point you will have to up the dose to push the body beyond its level and make new mass.Kurt says

Means there are more than androgen receptors involved in response.1:24:00
